From Sweden to Finland, Norway and Denmark — Nordic Fingers brings together some of the best fingerboarders in the North.
Filmed across the Nordics. Made by fingerboarders, for fingerboarders.
About the project
What is NORDIC FINGERS
A fingerboarding film produced by us, with clips from fingerboarders across the Nordic community.
Our goal is to showcase the talent, creativity, and unique styles coming out of the Nordic fingerboard scene.
How will it be made?
The plan is for us at Fingerskate.shop to produce and edit a fingerboard film built from footage submitted by the Nordic fingerboard community. We will also film some clips our self off course :)
Where will it be published?
The finished movie will be released on our YouTube channel.
Don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss the teasers, the full movie, and other fun fingerboarding videos we’ll be releasing along the way.
Will all submitted clips be in the movie?
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to include every clip that gets submitted. Nordic Fingers is all about showcasing the best and strongest clips from riders in the Nordic scene.
That being said, a simple kickflip filmed perfectly is better than an advanced trick filmed sloppy. So if you’re not the most technical rider, you can make up for it with great filming, composition and attention to detail.
Even though all submitted clips will not be in the final movie, we will upload a B-side with all submitted clips in a separate video.
Do I have to ride equipment from fingerskate.shop?
No, all brands are welcome :) Its totally fine if you want to showcase your sponsorns or your own brand.
If you are a deck maker, we would love to see a clip of you making your decks!
Will the movie be fingerboarding only?
The film will mainly focus on fingerboarding clips, but we also want to showcase different parts of the Nordic fingerboard scene. If you have your own fingerboard brand or run a shop selling fingerboard products and want to showcase it, go for it! We can guide you in the right direction but ultimately the clips, interviews and scenery footage needs to be captured by you.
You’re also welcome to show something else interesting from your part of the Nordic fingerboard scene, as long as it’s well-filmed, tasteful and fits the overall feel of the movie. We will also always welcome a good glamour shot of setups or iconic scenery from your country or city to break up the trick sections of the movie.
However, we can’t guarantee that everything you film will make it into the final cut.
What style of music will be in the movie?
We want the film to have a cohesive and atmospheric feel, so the soundtrack will mainly feature smooth, melodic music, with a few unexpected twists along the way.
We know that some fingerboarders love skate punk, heavy metal and hard rock, but that’s not the direction we’re aiming for with Nordic Fingers. The music will complement the riding and help create a consistent feeling throughout the film.
Will I get compensated for submitting clips?
Every submission (one per person) will receive a 15% discount code to use at fingerskate.shop.
You’ll also be part of an exciting milestone for the Nordic fingerboard scene. It’s a great opportunity to showcase your sponsors, brand, shop, or simply your own style to the wider Nordic fingerboard community.
When will be released?
We want to take our time a create something that the Nordic fingerboard community can be proud of. So it will take some time to complete. We are aiming for a release early next year.

How do I film and good looking clip?
Remember that we’re putting a lot of emphasis on how the footage looks. Take your time and plan your shots carefully before you start filming. Think about camera angles, composition, lighting and fps settings (if you want to film in slow motion) to make your clips look as good as possible.
